Learning to manage

Face Value Performance Psychology provides training – both traditional in-person as well as virtual by video conference. All my programmes have at their core the fundamental principles of understanding ourselves as emotionally-thinking human beings who respond to our environments in the here-and-now. Learning new knowledge and skills requires us to be aware of how we are thinking, feeling and behaving, if learning is to be effective and long-lasting.

Designed with the psychological awareness of how we learn at our best, my training programmes and courses are a blend of traditional materials-based learning (e.g. workbooks, pens and sticky notes) and technological enablers such as video conferencing with breakout rooms, online polling and quizzes to test knowledge transfer and recall (using Mentimeter) and virtual workspaces (see Mural on the Facilitation page) to allow all delegates to take part fully and in a safe environment.

I run half-day and full-day courses, onsite or virtually, on a range of off-the-shelf topics as well ones specifically designed to address a client’s particular training or learning need. Attach below are 1-page outlines of the courses I currently offer and delivered to clients over the last 4 years.

With the constant tension between needing to demonstrate one’s ability at work and finding the time to reflect and be confident in one’s development leading to increased anxiety and occasionally burnout in today’s working population, I designed a confidence-building programme that can be delivered in three 90-minute sessions while minimising disruption to the working day.
