Values – the things to which we attach importance – are the product of our thoughts. Take the time to think about the extent to which your choices are influenced by externally-created values. For example, the value or need to look good on the outside by surrounding yourself with things that impress others. What are you trying to tell them? If they were taken away from you, what would you say about yourself? What’s important is inside.
