“Well-being is realised by small steps, but is truly no small thing.” Zeno, quoted in Diogenes Laertius, Lives of the Eminent Philosophers

Small steps together make a journey. Be that a long excursion or a minor transition, it takes repeated effort to achieve the overall change. Your effort is applied to the step being taken, in the here and now. Actions speak louder than words. If you have not reached the destination you desire, or achieved the change you want to see, what small step can you take now to move you in the right direction? Even stopping for a few minutes just to consider this question counts as a step in the right direction – a good behaviour that can be repeated to become a habit.

To feel more connected to the world, why not take your shoes off and feel the sand between your toes?
